HYGIENE & CLEANING SERVICES

Trauma Scene Cleaning This is a highly specialised service, requiring specific training, in-depth knowledge and awareness of the risks to both operatives and third parties. Trauma scenes can be defined as any clean-up involving human bodily fluids (i.e. blood-borne pathogens) usually as a result of unattended natural death, homicides or suicides. We treat every scene as a Hazard and therefore only use fully-trained and experienced technicians who carry out procedures to strict guidelines as laid out within our own academy and within UK legislation. It is most important that the correct procedure for decontamination and removal are fully adhered too at all times. On arrival a full risk assessment will be carried out before any work is undertaken Blood-borne pathogens, found at trauma scene clean-ups, are micro-organisms within the blood itself. They present a high risk of contamination to any humans in the vicinity of a trauma scene and can cause serious disease - Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) and Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) are specific examples. North West treat all materials from these scenes as bio-hazards and remove all material in accordance with current UK guidelines. Once the scene has been cleaned and decontaminated the client will be given documentation to prove all legal requirements have been met. 24/7 Trauma Cleaning Response. We treat all enquiries as emergencies. Once we have decided the best method to proceed a work method will be given. We can operate alongside councils, landlords, drug rehab units or any individual. We adapt to any environment or time scale needed. Tel; 0800 046 9266
